About Eli

by Eli on November 28, 2009

I’m a PhD student at the University of Exeter and I work on clustering of forming stars in the Milky Way. Concurrently, I work with the Chandra X-ray Observatory EPO team looking for new potential images and imaging methods.

In the last two years I have lead two mapping projects, MIPSGAL/GLIMPSE and Sky Interactive Database, to showcase potential uses of mapping services for science like Google Sky, WorldWide Telescope, and SkyMap.

For three years I have been actively using Python after using IDL. I am a co-developer for ATpy and APLpy.
