  This person’s saga of dealing with 6 boxes of “teaching paperwork” reinforces to me how important it is to start scanning, shredding, and tossing as soon as possible before it becomes a monumental task. With the beauty of a machine that is the Fujitsu ScanSnap S1500M, there’s no reason file cabinets should contain anything other than active items from the current year.
