		<description>And yes, having just experimented with it and created my first annotation, it does tag things with user accounts and names. So that&#039;s good. 

Also note that as of right now, this only seems to be available at the master Simbad site in France, and has not yet propagated to the US mirror. 

(Also, and unrelatedly: Hey, IDL 8.0 actually sounds like a pretty nice update! Gonna make the IDL vs. Python debate a lot more interesting, I suspect.)</description>

		<description>Jessica - they&#039;re requiring commenters to authenticate with user accounts of some kind. So presumably they can track edit histories, build up trustworthiness metrics for authors, etc.
