I am an astrophysicist turned data scientist. After completing my PhD at UC Berkeley, I started working for the social network Yammer (acquired by Microsoft). I now spend my days analyzing user behavior instead of quasars and galaxies. I’ll be mostly blogging about coding tips, and also about my transition from Astronomy to the tech / start-up world. I am a member of the AAS Committee for the Status of Women in Astronomy (CSWA) and I blog for Women in Astronomy.
