What I wish I'd known before grad school

In keeping with the general theme here: CUNY Astro invites recent alums back for a panel discussion with students, scheduled for about 2 hours. It's unstructured, and both current students and alums liked it. They may even want to add advice here in writing (?), but if you are a faculty member reading this, your institution's recent alums are likely the best resource for your current undergrads... so faculty just need to be proactive about making that connection!
